How To Fix "Unable to Download the Kit"
Sometimes, some customers may encounter the problem of a failed import and receive the message "Unable to Download the Kit"
This usually happens when your hosting specifications do not match the requirements for importing an Elementor template kit. Since the import process involves downloading all the data from our live demo, some aspects need to be improved.
To address this, navigate to Tools > Site Health > on the Info Tab, and ensure that these specifications align with our guidelines, particularly in terms of PHP Time Limit and Max Input Time.
- Upload max filesize: 512M or above
- PHP post max size: 512M or above
- PHP time limit: 3000 or above
- Max input time: -1
In Elementor > System Info, ensure you also update.
- WordPress memory limit: 512MB or above
- Php memory_limit: 2048M or above
- ZIP Archive installed: yes
Tip: After upgrading, check Pages, Media, and Templates to see if several pages, templates, and media have been imported. Try to edit with Elementor - does it result in a blank page? If so, the previous import may have failed. To avoid duplication upon re-importing, consider resetting your website using WP Reset. Ensure that all data is safe before deleting, or manually delete them one by one.
